Cashitron Industries is established in 1989, as a partnership firm with Founder Partner Dr. R. G. Nayak, along with other three partners namely Shri K. Keshavachar, a Civil Engineer by profession, Shri S. A. Deshpande, an Electrical Engineer by profession and Shri Manohar V. Nayak, a Businessman, with view of utilizing bio waste material, i.e. cashew nut shell, to produce many industrially useful products such as CNSL, Cashew Cake, Friction dust, CSNL resin, etc.
In 2022, new partner Mrs. Soumya Kamath joined the firm as other three partners retired from the firm. Since October 2022, Dr. R. G. Nayak & Mrs. Soumya Kamath are the partners of the Cashitron Industries with 50% shares.
Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) is extracted from the cashew nut shells during the processing cashew nuts to obtain edible kernel.
The firm produces cashew nut shell liquid CNSL Oil, CNSL Resin (liquid) Friction dust (CNSL solid resin) and cashew cake as by product and is a pioneer in promoting the chemicals from cashew nut waste.
As a Small-Scale industry, Cashitron Industries have annual production Capacity of around 300 – 400 MT of CNSL, 1200 to 1500 MT of Cashew Oil Cake, around 15 MT of CNSL Resin & around 30 MT of Friction dust. Current Annual Turnover ₹ 2 to 5 Crores.

Dr. Ramakrishna Gopal Nayak
In January 1989 established Cashitron Industries and since inception working as a Managing Partner.

From 1982 till 1988 Worked for Various Paper mills in designing and R&D Section.
Mrs. Soumya Kamath
From October 2022 working as a Partner for Cashitron Industries.

Mr. Prakash Kamath
From October 2024 working as a Managing Partner (on behalf of Mrs. Soumya Kamath) for Cashitron Industries.

From 1994 till March 1999 worked for Radiographic Services, Mumbai as NDT Engineer.
From March 1999 till August 2024 worked as Sr. Quality Engineer in Middle East with various Construction organization namely, Zamil Steel Saudi Arabia, Nass Mechanical Bahrain, ADNOC Abu Dhabi on their various projects.
